The story
TrendingTea: Fairtrade tea from Sri Lanka
Niels and Roeland founded TrendingTea in the Netherlands in 2016 to address the lack of transparency in the tea industry, where conventional products often contained dust and flavourings instead of real leaves. The brand sources loose-leaf tea and pure ingredients directly from Sri Lankan farmers, paying 150% above market price to support their livelihoods and enable investments in a sustainable chain.
