Micklagård is a small family business in Hagfors, Sweden, started in 1993 by Jan and Anette Gullberg, who wanted hunting and outdoor clothes that kept them warm and dry. They bought the Swedish army's entire stock of wadmal, a dense woollen fabric (80% wool, 20% rayon) that repels wind and water, and designed and sewed their own clothes from it.
