The story
Le Minor: Breton knitwear made in Guidel since 1922
Le Minor began in 1922 when Berthe Etui founded the Manufacture Bonneterie Lorientaise in Lorient to make warm, hard-wearing wool pulls for Breton fishermen. In the 1930s, Marie-Anne Le Minor established a second workshop in Pont-l’Abbé, uniting local embroiderers to craft traditional Breton clothing and, soon after, everyday wear.
