Chemist Alex launched Iron and Velvet in the West Midlands after years in industrial cleaning exposed the lack of eco-friendly options. His water-soluble sachet, developed over two years, now underpins a range of over 20 plastic-free cleaners, from floor sprays to antibacterial gels, all made in the brand’s Dudley factory.
