The story
Coffee Based: biobased home and office products from coffee waste
Coffee Based was founded in the Netherlands to turn the country’s 100 million kilos of annual coffee grounds into new materials. The Gorinchem-based company transforms spent coffee grounds and silverskin into reusable cups, notebooks, plant pots and interior items, replacing disposable products made from virgin materials.
